Maybe this is common knowledge for some, but I just recently happened to stumble across this site:
They have links to lots and lots of free courses you can take on the Internet, as well as links to some great movies*, music and books. (Oh, and free language lessons as well!)
This looks to be a totally legal site - simply compiling and pointing to things in the public domain you might never have found on your own (and no, I have no personal relationship to anything to do with this website).
At any rate - peruse and enjoy!
*With the free movies, I though it might be cool here on the SDMB to have a movie of the month club - everybody watch the same old classic and then come back to comment.
Thanks for that. Their list of free movies is astounding, several of the titles made me say WOW! out loud. Eyes Without A Face, for instance. I saw that years ago and just recently saw it in the theater again, and marveled at how effective it still is. I haven’t read through the whole list yet.
I hope your SDMB MOTM club flies. I can’t commit to it myself because I’m rarely home, but I hope other people do.
