I bailed when I read that Kid Rock wasn’t invited.
I’m sure I’ll watch the funny clips of Trump making a fool of himself during this “non-partisan” event. I’m sure we will hear how it is the fault of the dumocrats (many people don’t know there is a B in dumb), Joe Biden, and Barrack Hussein Obama for the vandalism in the reflecting pool, that he had to get us into a quagmire of a very unnecessary war, and that kids are getting trans operations every day in public schools.
They would’ve need a much larger venue if Kid Rock were on the schedule.
And that nobody didn’t even have country western stars performing!
There is now a livestream of the event and there is a military band playing. They show some views that make it look like a few hundred attendees along with a lot of open grass space. YUGE!!!
I just popped into the live feed to hear Sean Duffy telling young people they need to “get married and have lots of kids. It’s a lot of fun!” And apparently, he has 9 kids so he practices what he is preaching.
This is the oddest celebration of the USA.
Holy crap! They are pulling out all the entertainment stops! Those in attendance must be absolutely floored! Obama’s library opening didn’t have anything near this magnitude!

Yeah, Sweet Home Alabama was a hit with this crowd. This is most definitely a MAGA rally and not a celebration of America. Just look at that “crowd” of white people. Trump is going to regurgitate his greatest hits and they will love it. Sad!

I did not know the army had a “rock” band. Is there a singer? A guitar player?
Yes, there were two singers and a guitar player who were members of the larger band.
I thought it a bold choice! I was hoping they’d follow up with Ohio.
As expected it was just a Trump rally. Right down to the military band ending the show with YMCA. How embarrassing for them. It was interesting to hear that Abraham Lincoln is one of the founding fathers. I wonder if someone actually wrote that in the list of names or Trump adlibbed it. Either way, the MAGA audience didn’t seem to notice or care.
If this is the quality of the rest of the Fair, we have great things to look forward to snarking about!

I do believe there are people that play in military bands as a career. I knew one jazz guy who retired from the AF band and he was the least military person I could think of. Of course, this is very anecdotal.
But, this speaks a lot to the fact that Trump couldn’t get washed up former musical acts to play for him and he had to resort to those that couldn’t say no. I know he had all-stars Lee Greenwood and that opera guy no one has heard of, but beyond that, the rest HAD to play for him.
Pathetic.
