Would anyone care to share their experiences with Freedom Mortgage?
They have offered us a lower rate.
There are certain words and phrases which have nothing to do with commerce or money, but end up in company names.
“Freedom” is one of them.
I predict this is a thread that will either get hijacked or die quickly.
I sincerely hope that a mortgage company which tries to wrap itself in the flag gets little business.

There are others. I have a similar list for dating sites.
I have freedom mortgage. I went with them because they had the best rate. They’ve been the same as any other mortgage company, no problems here.
BBB (remember them?) is not in the business of bad-mouthing companies (they pay the BBB for the listing).

The following describes a government action that has been resolved by either a settlement or a decision by a court or administrative agency. If the matter is being appealed, it will be noted below.
On 29th of March 2012 the business entered into an Agreed Order with the Kentucky Department of Financial Institutions. The Agreed Order settles allegations that the business was utilizing an unregistered loan originator and unlicensed mortgage broker.
Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to pay the total settlement amount of $2,500 and agreed to continual and full compliance with all statutory requirements.
