I want to start freelance writing. I have the Writer’s Market and was wondering, do editors accept query letters by email?
I’m not sure but I am certain that you can find the answer to that question (and others) in The Writer’s Market. I’m looking to get back into freelance writing myself. I would bet that it depends on each individual editor. Look at the listings in the Writer’s Market.

The writer’s guidelines for the magazine will let you know if they accept e-mail queries. Writer’s Market should have this information. If it doesn’t say e-mail queries, then assume they do NOT take them.
I’d guess most don’t, for the same reason people don’t invite spam into their mailboxes.
