Yeah, they’re so heavily sanctioned, they [urlhttp://www.unhchr.ch/html/menu2/2/chrmem.htm]get to sit on the UN Commision on Human Rights.
Agreed. The problem is (Turkmenistan is having problems?), there is just too much going on in the world and my life to know everything about everything. It’s impossible for a mere mortal as myself to keep abreast of every single development on Earth and give it the time to be equally passionate about it all. Sometimes I have to let go and trust someone else will take care of it. I tend to spend more energy on earning money, maintaining the house, interacting with friends and family and generally trying to keep an even keel in life to worry about every single injustice in the world. I can’t solve the world’s problems, hell I can’t solve all of my own.
But I will give my opinion from time to time. Take it for what it’s worth. An anonymous poster on a public message board. And with the election over, I’m starting to learn to just accept that those with opposing views won’t change their minds any faster than I’ll change mine. I’m actually just becoming apathetic about the whole thing now. It seems to avoid the pile-ons for other posters pretty well.
Why am I not surprised?
Oh, regarding my previous post, I’ll never end giving opinion on the UN.
Maybe they were looking for chocolate of mass destruction.
Where the hell is Lynn, anyway? I hope she brings back chocolate pie, after kicking some major ass.
Or, well, chocolate of ass destruction. Lord knows it’s contributed to the destruction of mine…
Ah, welcome to my world :).
