Can someone point me to a reference that would answer questions like these:
What percentage of the pop. of Korea has surname Kim or Park?
What is distribution in China of surnames Wang/Wong, Li, Chow etc.
Big Five (Kim, Lee/Yi, Park/Park, Choi, Chung/Jung) make up over 50%
Kim 22%
Lee 14%
There are about 270 surnames in Korea, which is relatively few, although they are further subdivided by clan.
