Growing up, it was mostly home canned. So we had a lot of fresh in the summer, and canned in the winter. I never tried frozen til I was on my own. I prefer fresh, but it can be a challenge. I just moved in with a roommate who also likes veggies so I suspect we will have lots more fresh now.
Mostly fresh, but I keep cans of corn, green beans, and wax beans for occasional convenience in making dinner.
I grew up with fresh and frozen.
My wife grew up with canned.
So we do both:
Canned: green beans, wax beans, corn, beets
Frozen: corn, peas, lima beans, broccoli, spinach, brussel sprouts
fresh: corn, broccoli, spinach, carrots.
