Chandler and Ross are the same age (since they went to college together), and Monica and Rachel are two or three years younger than them (since they went to high school together). But do we know how old Phoebe and Joey are, relative to the others?
I realise that it’s probably pretty irrelevant, that they’re more or less all the same age, but I was just curious if it their ages had ever been mentioned or hinted at.

Dunno how accurate this is but from the friends NG:
Rachel’s (5th May 1969)
Ross is the oldest (December 1967),
Joey is the youngest (January 1970),
and Chandler & Monica are the same age (April 1969).
Phoebe’s date of birth (16th February 1968)
Monica is 16 months younger than Ross, and a
month older than Rachel (they were together at school). Chandler is also 16
months younger than Ross, but ages vary more at university.
Ok so that makes them (as of the finale) :
Rachel: freshly turned 35
Ross: 36 (will be 37 in dec)
Joey: 34
Chandler: 35
Monica: 35
Phoebe: 36
I don’t think Joey could be the youngest. In the “One were they all turn 30” it is Rachel’s Birthday, and they flashback to Joey’s 30th.
Also, I once asked if Ross and Monica were twins. She is a senior as he is finishing his first year of college. Yet, it was once mentioned that he skipped a grade.
Really? I realise that writers are allowed a certain licence with this sort of thing, but it always seemed to me to be quite clear that Chandler was slightly older. This seemed especially obvious in the “flashback” episodes, where Ross introduced Chandler to Monica and Rachel.
Were those numbers figured BEFORE the Thanksgiving Flashback episode?
That changed a LOT of the show’s continuity.
