“A-Laget” by A-Laget (Swedish rap)
“Zwitter” by Rammstein (German heavy metal~goth?)
'97 Bonnie & Clyde" by Eminem (if numbers)
Ada - The National
Zero - The Smashing Pumpkins
1979 - The Smashing Pumpkins
Interestingly, Zero & 1979 come from the same album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, kinda surprised I’m the first to report this combination.
I should add, this does not define my taste in music. I like rap and metal, but I also like just about any kind of music. I have over 10,000 tunes on my ipod. These just happen to be alphabetic/numeric first and last.
“Abacab” by Genesis and "Zap!"by Eric Johnson
First (letters): Abalone Blues, by Mary’s Danish
First (numbers): 100%, by Sonic Youth
Last (letters): Zusammen, by Nena
Last (numbers): 99 Luftballons, by Nena
Curiously, my iPod sorts “99.9F” by Suzanne Vega before “99 Luftballons”, so the ‘.’ character is earlier than the space ’ ’ in iPods alphanum sorting.
Yeah, the numeric/punctuational sort is a little unconventional…
I have in order:
3 Dimes Down
6’1"
9-9
16 Days
1979
The sort keeps tracks in order if people label them with numbers, thus “1 Song” gets sorted in front of “10 Song”, which is sorted in front of “100 Song”, etc.
After the Ordeal by Genesis
Young Folks by Peter Bjorn and John
Ace of Spades, Motorhead
Zoo Station, U2
9000 Miles, Pendulum
I think I’m the third Zoo Station
The Alkaholiks - AA Meeting (Intro)
Roomful of Blues - Zydeco Boogaloo
