So, I froze an unoppened bottle of Club Soda last night by accident. It spent the entire night in the freezer.
I just put it on the counter. When it thaws out, will it have recarbonated itself (gaseous pressure and no outlet other than into the water makes me think… maybe)?
I don’t need answer fast, as it’s far to early still for a cocktail. I think. Maybe.
By coincidence, I am right now drinking an accidentally frozen ginger ale. Same deal, put it in the freezer yesterday and forgot till much later. It’s fine and bubbly.
The ceiling over my parents sink is still slightly stained from when I forgot a can of Pepsi in the freezer overnight, then put it in the sink to defrost.
I may have been trying to open it when it exploded, I don’t recall. I’m going to say YMMV on this one.
