Fuck Emerson College & fuck Ron Burgundy

This unpredictability is why I always take the stairs.

I’m surprised USC didn’t do it first.

After further consideration, maybe y’all are right and this isn’t such a big deal after all.

Engorged, if there is ever an option always go for engorged.

Atta boy.

I guess they want everyone to come see how good they look.

seconded.

Snow Boarder Bo, your OP took a position that was stupid as Hell, but you came back to post that you changed your mind. Not near enough posters have the spine to do that. You do though, and I believe that is worthy of respect. For that I raise my glass to you. Cheers.

Are you raising you glass to throw in into – oh, nm.

Oakminster, you got a laugh out of me too. So thanks for that.

Snowboarder Bo, we’re all allowed our recreational outrage from time to time, but this was an innocuous thing to be upset about. However, the proper thing to do when everyone gangs up on your stupid opinion is not to admit that maybe after a 2nd thought you were wrong, but to double down on the stupidity and fight to the bitter end defending your messed up point of view.

And they didn’t have the talent to get into RISD.

(I was accepted to Emerson but opted to go to a more reputable school closer to home: Penn State. So that worked out well.)

I feel compelled to add to the chorus calling out the OP for using “alumni” as a singular.
ur teh st00pidz.

Ooh! First post of a new page! I win a puppy!

The OP might want to stay out of Truth or Consequences, NM. That is, if he was still worked up about the issue.

Where’s the outrage at the Newseum’s new Ron Burgundy display? Has a serious historical museum no dignity remaining?

I’m IN A GLASS CASE OF EMOTION!

I came in to this thread to write this same thing, pretty much word for word.

And no, I didn’t get the shit kicked out of me in high school, either.

Not to get overly-sensitive about my alumni, but this is kind of a strange comment… RISD is an art and design school; Emerson is performing arts and communication. I can’t imagine there’s much crossover in people who apply to these two colleges.

The not-apparently-funny reference to an overlap in the student bodies was this:

I was attempting to imply that RISD students shared the same characteristics but actually had artistic talent, thus insulting two schools for the price of one in an attempt to be amusing.

Eh, they can’t all be winners.

Ah, gotcha! I didn’t realize RISD had that reputation.

I once almost got arrested for blowing things up in a place that makes REALLY big rocks into smaller rocks.
