Uh, Casey, I belive the last line of my post indicates that I wasn’t lumping you in with that guy.
But really, what did you expect? That people would come in here and feel sympathy for you? “Oh poor guy - got embarrased by the police.”
Well sorry, I don’t think so. You pitted yourself. Did you expect that there would be noone that would agree with you? Did you think everyone would excuse you and pat you on the hand? “Oh you naughty boy - you shouldn’t have done that!”
Well guess what. Serious issue here. You said yourself you wouldn’t have driven with your son in the car. Why’s that? Because his life is more valuable than the son of someone else? How very nobel of you.
Listen bub, I really don’t give a flying patootie what you do. I’m not in your jurisdiction. I don’t have any family in your jurisdiction. I don’t know anyone in your jurisdiction. I don’t know you. The only information I have is that which you posted here.
However, just as a thought, instead of trying to justify what you did - which may or may not have been against the law - how 'bout you just admit it was stupid. Vow not to do it again. You know - next time you’re at a softball meeting drink orange juice instead of beer if you’re going to be driving.
Really, it all seems quite straight forward.
