I finally got so disgusted with the whole process that I offered them a passport that expired before the secretary recording the info was born.

They accepted it. :smack:

A Passport, current or expired is one of the acceptable forms of ID listed on the Federal employment eligibility form. Nobody stops being a US citizen when thier passport expires.

And even though it very clearly states this on the Federal form they gave out with my employment paperwork, they refused to accept even my current Passport (or certified birth certificate). Even though it says on the form that they could be fined for doing so. Aye aye aye. These are the folks in charge of teaching your kids, people!
