Haven’t paid close attention, but I did see one news report that said police records over the years had three complaints about that house. One was his leaving the kid on the bus incident and the other two sounded very minor, certainly not naked women on leashes.
One thing that was mentioned in the report I saw was that many times a caller does not leave an exact address so a database search then wouldn’t have that address mentioned.
Perhaps a search on “report of naked woman on leash” would yield results.
I hate to so this, but if I noticed my neighbour walking a naked woman around like a dog in his backyard I’d probably just assume it was a mutual sex fetish and ignore it unless she was obviously underage or there were other issues like noise or the stench of rotting corpses.
Or in other words, exactly what I said on the first page.
People just love getting in on these stories. People will tell blatant lies just to be a part of something. I personally know multiple people who claimed the bread delivery guy walked in on my local arab gas station owner and saw him celebrating 9/11 as it was happening live on CNN. According to the story he then proceeded to beat the owner up.
This was in a very small town, it’s not like people couldn’t just go and ask him if it was true. Even tho it was so provable to be false, people still swore up and down they saw it, because it’s just more fun to say that then the truth.
