Yeah…when this thread was getting a little heated I sent an email asking for it to be closed down. Then Hydrocortisone was banned and the conversation turned more towards date rape vs. stranger rape and it remained open…which was fine by me.
Since Hydrocortisone is no longer with us I certainly don’t think it’s appropriate for us to rake him over the coals any longer. But, if people still want to comment on the overall rape issue that’s fine with me.
And I am not a mod but if they decide to go ahead and close this one down I’m cool with that too.
Is it OK if DreadCthulu e-mails them to me and neither one of us puts them on the board?

Yes, I remember that thread. And as I said, I understand why people were being urged to calm down. I know it wasn’t a control issue, but done out of concern that they too not be banned.
Under these particular circumstances, I would be less inclined to consider their reaction as jerkish. It’s a little like the behavior that a person with PTSD demonstrates when experiencing a flashback.
After reading your posts for the last fourteen months, I don’t think there is anything you could say that would ever make me think you are cold. We both have the same goal – hoping that someone doesn’t end up in the troll’s net and get banned along with him or her.

What I need is a reminder that someone may be trolling. I know we can’t accuse them and stay within the rules. But unless it is discouraged by the mods, I would appreciate someone just giving me a nudge – literally. Like this: <nudge That’s a nudge with an elbow.
I’m serious. It may not work for others, but I would get the point and no accusation would be made.
