HERE I can’t believe you actually had the balls to say that someone being raped should just sit back and try to enjoy the assault as much as possible.
For all the men and women who have had to experience that kind of horrible thing FUCK YOU. For everyone who has had their power taken away from them in that manner…double FUCK YOU.
I hope you are just an idiot or a troll and don’t actually hold these kinds of thoughts in your messed up mind.
And in case I didn’t come across clearly…FUCK YOU.
Thank you Aries I was too lazy to do this myself. I can’t believe this guy only has a couple of hundred posts. He sure uses each one to the most nauseating effect.
Damnit. This probably isn’t worthy of the pit (what follows, not the OP), but here’s my tame response to Hydrocortisone’s post. As I pressed “submit,” the locked thread notice came up…
Your post, Hydrocortisone, asks two very different questions.
As Windwalker stated, assaults and sexual assaults can be varying degrees of terrible. However, as a society, we’ve decided to single out rape as a particularly terrible crime. The same has been done, though to a lesser degree (?), for hate crimes.
This is an issue with the legal system, not with rape victims.
Ignoring, for one wee second, how offensive this is, I have to ask: Given that it’s often accepted that most women have difficulty reaching orgasm from just intercourse, why would you possibly think that those same women would be able to “relax and enjoy” when they’re engaging in a sex act that they did not choose, that they may be physically struggling against, that involves a person they’re not attracted to or a thousand different reasons?
Should mugging victims be pleasant and polite to their attackers? Should I boil some water and offer the individual robbing my home a cuppa tea?
The reason a rape victim doesn’t enjoy him/herself is because s/he is being ATTACKED. Not seduced. Not loved. But manhandled. Groped. Mistreated. Sometimes violently. In uncomfortable places. In one of the most intimate ways I can imagine.
If you knew a rape victim or had read accounts of rape, you might have a better idea of how insipid the final portion of your post is.
And for someone to drive Aries28 to swear. . . (shakes head)
This clown Hydrocortisone is obviously yanking chains to a reaction because nobody, not even the trolliest troll, could seriously believe that anyone, male or female, could derive pleasure from being physically violated.
Here’s an idea, let’s hold him down and repeatedly a wooden broom handle into his rectum and see how much he enjoys it.

Why fucking bother? This moron has YET to stay in the thread long enough completely masturbate, let alone give a response to anyone with a question.
People, stop giving this guy the time of day. He’s developed an extremely solid pattern of starting up inflammatory threads, and abandoning them. The LAST thing we need to do is respond to him in even more independent threads.
gobear, that’s probably not the most constructive comment, seeing as how that’s almost exactly how Zenster was banned.
Hydrocortisone, you did an amazing job of displaying your ignorance of human biology and physiological response in that thread. There are many physical responses that are tied into more than one event, you know - like nipples hardening can be in response to pleasure, to pain (even unpleasant pain, not sexually arousing pain), to cold, fear, and so forth. But did you even bother to bring in any evidence? Nope, just “oh I heard this somewhere, so why is it so bad then?” It’s amazing what passes for “debate” these days if you can be that incredibly lazy and callous.
I guess if it really is possible to just “lay back and enjoy it” then why should we complain, right? Hey, it’s just some guy spreading sex around, you know you want it…
You know why it’s so bad to be raped? It’s the humiliation. It’s having memories of some violent asshole be tied into what’s supposed to be a fun, even romantic and tender expression of love/lust. It’s having a fucking flashback in the middle of lovemaking because some touch, some whisper, some scent or association triggers memories of what happened, and crying into the shoulder of your too-patient boyfriend because it’s taking a while to get through therapy and you haven’t sorted everything out yet. That’s why it’s worse than a “regular” assault. It takes something wonderful and corrupts it, and that emotional baggage takes a hell of a long while to get rid of. I don’t see any good associations with being punched, pistol-whipped, shot, and other “regular” assaults that can be similarly warped.
And no, I didn’t orgasm, so fuck off if you were considering asking about that.
(For those who might be concerned, things are basically cool now. This was over a decade ago, and I was writing about how it was a year or so afterwards.)
I have to admit that the linked thread actually speaks in his favor in one regard: unlike so many of his other threads, he actualy came back to this one to post a second time.
