Fuck you, Multimags. What the hell did you do with my roommate?

You know actually I should have just treated you with a little empathy instead of being an asshole. I apologize. My wife and I are currently undergoing a similiar problem. She’s being made miserable by work but she doesn’t want to quit because she’s making more money then she ever has before. Her immediate supervisor doesn’t seem to do much of anything and her company put her quota at a level that even the #1 guy cannot attain. We’re talking about the #1 guy of a multi-national corporation here not some mom and pop outfit.

I told her that I didn’t mind her quitting and seeking another less stressful job for less pay. But she got a new manager so hopefully things will improve a bit.

Although I’m a staunch supporter of capitalism I am a bit upset about companies not treating people like human beings. When I see a company where the workers have low morale I blame the managers. Low morale makes for a bad work environment which makes for less productive employees. A lot of people will only work hard enough not to get fired. Oh well, such is life. Hope your roommate has good luck in the future and I would encourage him to seek another job. No amount of money is worth making your life miserable.
