I think she wants people to believe she believes this crap. [but, to be fair, I think that about almost all “religious” people. I’ll admit to a certain bias, i.e., people can’t be that stupid.]
This woman is another Cliven Bundy and I hope she screws up like he did. She doesn’t seem particularly smart or well spoken, surely it’s just a matter of time until she graces us with her theories on “butt pirates” or “the negro” and everyone will have to abandon her.
“Standing with Kim Davis” is small time. If he was really serious about showing how the straight lifestyle is the lifestyle of the Righteous, he should “lay with Kim Davis.”

I normally don’t say anything, but that one really got my goat! It was like four times in one post and I tried to be nice about it. I admit misused apostrophes drive me batty.
I remember reading a post long ago about this fellow who tried to quit smoking. He made himself a sign. The sign had a grammatical mistake.
He said that watching his girlfriend freak at the mistake over and over again was more than enough entertainment to distract him from smoking. That is totally me - I want to carry around a magic marker to the grocery store sometime. Apple’s my ass.
And I’m not leaving. It wasn’t a threat, just a comment. I still like this place a lot.

Last I heard, if the Supremes say a law is to be interpreted in thus-and-such a way, that means their interpretation is the way that law is to be read and enforced. You don’t have to agree with their judgement (<cough>Citizens United</cough>), but you still have to obey it unless and until you can get it changed.
Compared to Davis, I’d have to give Tennessee judge Jeffrey Atherton the nod for petulant craziness. He has just refused to grant a straight couple a divorce. Why? Let him explain:

I find I have new insight into the phrase, " they don’t have to shove it down our throats!", in regards to gay marriage. I thought they were referencing the overt, openly gay acceptability.
But now I see, they really do have to have things shoved down their throats. They claim to be proud of the democracy they live in, but are nothing but defiant when the wind doesn’t blow their way and they find themselves on the minority side of an issue. Ugh!
Some of them may well *want *… um, something, shoved down their throats, given how often they use the term, knowhamean?
She should look at the bright side. Her wardrobe has been dramatically upgraded!

The members of the Legislature actually want to pass a special law protecting her. The Democratic governor said he will not be calling a special session.
