Jesus Christ. Thurgood, if you’re serious, you’re a moron and we’ll all thank you to knock it off. If you’re NOT serious, same deal.
Marley – Gee, why didn’t we think to close the windows? Our doors and windows are almost never open. They can get in through any infinitesimal crack. It’s nearly impossible to seal them out of a house.
Um…I could be mistaken*, but I believe you were the first person to hijack this thread, Thurgood. stpauler has just taken the opportunity to display your habit of doing the exact same thing in other threads, revealing that you had a much more sinister intention with your first post (an intention that had absolutely nothing to do with asian beetles in Wisconsin).
i don’t think they bite really, more like they have this acid that burns. it must be a midwest problem, (that is where the soybeans are i suppose :P). does anybody have those teeny little black bugs? i don’t know what they are and you don’t see them unless they happen to land on your white shirt. those suckers are nasty too. grrrrrr stupid bugs.
I am happy to report that because the over night temp has hovered between 33[sup]o[/sup]-37[sup]o[/sup] the past few nights, the little buggers have moved south from central Minnesota, looking for warmer temps.
I advised them that it is a few degrees warmer around the Twin Cities area.
They may even find a place where there is a fire to warm their little cockels. They should be safe there, as long as they wear the little “I am not spider” and “I love dogs” t-shirts I gave them.
A co-worker and I got into an arugment with a third co-worker today (and were later joined by a fourth co-worker) because co-worker No. 3 refused to believe that H. axyridis (that’s the nasty, smelly, biting lady bug) is any different from the regular, normal, sweet-tempered lady bug. H. axyridis is not only spreading hate and discontent in our homes, it’s also leading to near-blows in the work place!
DOWN WITH H. AXYRIDIS!!!
Now. If someone can please give me the scientific name of the regular, normal, sweet-tempered lady bug so I can prove Mr. It’s-The-Same-Goddamned-Bug!! wrong I’d be greatly appreciative.
oh drat you imthjckaz, you sent them south? thanks a lot we had enuff of our own. i am going to be in the st cloud area in a week or two, think im capture a few hundred thousand and transport them in industrial sized mayonaise jars for a trip up north!
