Well, the clouds here in Ottawa are mostly gone now but the show is pretty much over with just a sliver remaining. I did get my rinkydink telescope set up and get a peek though, which is more than I expected a few hours ago.
If it was a crystal clear night I would have made the trek outside of town to observe proper, but it’s just too darn hazy out there to be bothered.
Catching the end of the eclipse right now. We had nasty, windy, dusty, cloudy weather here today, and dark clouds moved in just in time for the eclipse, but it’s clear now. The shadow is a beautiful, dusky red. Going back outside now!
Wow. Not a single cloud in the sky here in Montréal. I just listened to all of Dark Side Of The Moon during the eclipse while smoking a big fattie. Glad I’m not in New Jersey, that’s all I can say…
Oddly enough, even though it stormed (hail and everything) earlier today it was pretty clear tonight. I had to work until midnight but I caught the last part of the eclipse.
