That’s a collection of half truths and boilerplate, guilt by association slander along with the specious protest that he’s “inexperienced.” He’s just as experienced as Hillary. That whole page just supports gonzomax’s observation about disingenuous excuse-making to a tee.
Did you even read the link. It’s just standard, knuckle-walking, character assassination. There’s nary a reasoned political or ideological difference to be had. This is not a rational articulation of political differences, it’s petty, immature whining and name-calling, and it all goes completely against their own stated political interests.
I hope these bitches enjoy watching the return to coat hanger abortions.
Yes. Read his voting record.
Voting record of Barack Obama.
Full list from the Washington Post.
Grouped by issue from Project Vote Smart.
Which, for you, is synonymous with “No”.
What votes of Obama’s strike you as notable “socialistic”? Oh, wait, I get it, you think that word is synonymous with “Democratic”, right?
So, they’re dirty, dirty liars, then. Jesus, like I really need to defend these people, but…
Please dispute their concerns about his voting record.
Please dispute their concerns about his voting incorrectly.
Please dispute their concerns about his associations.
Please dispute their concerns about his flip-flops.
Now, you disagreeing with those concerns does not address them. No, you’ve decided they’re racist liars, and that’s what they will be.
And you have, I trust, heard of Rev. Wright?
I didn’t say they were liars (although not everything in there is truthful). I’m saying they’re retards and that their “concern” are contrived and disingenuous.
The “associations” thing is too stupid and too well hashed to require a response (but they lied and said he goes to a “racist church”).
The voting record is disingenous. He voted “present” on some bills because the legislative process requires that bills go through various drafts before a good one is accepted.
They’re making things up to pretend to be upset about. I can say this with confidence because every single one of their contrived objections can be equally made about Hillary.
There’s nothing racist either about that statement or about anything Wright ever said.
Really? What is Hillary’s history of voting “present” or of going to racist churches?
I don’t know about how many times she’s voted “present.” She hasn’t had to vote on as many bills as Obama has. I know she voted catastrophically wrong on giving Bush the authority to go into Iraq.
As far as racist churches – as far as I know, neither she nor Obama has ever attended a racist church. Obama’s denomination is 99% white.
I’ll take “Rivers in Egypt” for $200, Alex.
Cite something Wright said that was racist.
Then this statement of yours: “I can say this with confidence because every single one of their contrived objections can be equally made about Hillary.” was a lie, hmm?
Time to wipe the foam off your lips, fool. You’re not helping anybody at all, least of all Obama.
Why do they owe you an explanation?
There is zero chance that you would consider the possibility, isn’t there? You do know the news stories, and you must have seen the videos, or at least have no excuse for not doing so before entering the subject.
The central cite for his church’s racism, a topic which admittedly is debatable but not dismissible, was provided by the church itself, a bit upstream. Did you even fucking *read *it?
Here’s a clue: Obama is human. Yes, I realize that may come as a shock to you, but deep in your hate-filled little heart you know it’s true.
Because they want to fuck up my country.
I’ve seen every video and heard every quote. He never said one thing that was racist. We had a whole thread about this a couple of months ago and no once could cite anything about Wright or Trinity that was racist.
I don’t post often, and I certainly try never to venture into the Pit, but I still don’t get what’s so racist about a church that celebrates and identifies with a specific culture. I mean, I’m not black, but I was brought up in a Chinese Baptist church, and I don’t get what’s so wrong with a church that is proud of its African heritage.
Trinity UCC reads the Bible from a culture-specific theological standpoint; many other cultural groups, including Asian-Americans and Latino-Americans, do the same, but from their own particular context. In the UCC denomination, which has been pointed out is 99% white (more like 90%, but whatever), liberation theology, from many cultural contexts- not just black, is pretty common and hardly out of the mainstream.
I dunno. I still don’t get what was racist about anything Rev. Wright said, or anything Trinity UCC is doing.
What’s racist about being “unapologetically black?” Is it ok to be unapologetically Irish or Italian?
