Where can I find the full text of a memo written by Pat Buchanan to President Nixon in April of 1969? The subject of the memo is Buchanan’s advice to Nixon to not to visit Coretta Scott King on the anniversary of Dr. King’s assassination.

I’m in the midst of a rather spirited discussion about Buchanan. I’ve been aware of the inflammatory parts of the memo for years, but would like to read it in its entirety before offering any concessions.

I know Buchanan’s a touchy subject and including King doesn’t make it any less sensitive, but I’d like to stay out of GD and Pit territory, please.

I don’t know if the full text of that docuemnt has ever been published. However, it shouldn’t be too hard to obtain from either the National Archives or the Nixon library.
