Fun Spider Bite Aftermath [Disturbing/Gross Video]

Must be that newfangled Mac. Try the link for Mangetout.

I’m using a Windows box right now. :slight_smile:

Do you guys want to know how much of a masochist I am?

Too bad, because I’m telling you anyways.

After trying on and off for the past day to see the dang video and still getting timeouts on the original link, I went and Googled for “spider bite video” so I could find the thing on a different site. Yep, that’s right. I took a proactive role in my ongoing desensitization to disgusting and squickworthy things.

Oh dear Og. Why did I have to go and do that?

But… what’s the link?

:: d&r ::

Edit: there’s a website called badspiderbites.com.

We’re doomed.

It loaded.

:: shudder ::

Well, actually, it wasn’t that bad. It must have been something of a relief to have the pressure gone.

I’m just glad it wasn’t smell-o-vision.

That must have been half a litre of pus…

It’s on YouTube.

There was a vid on YouTube showing a third-world-looking guy having a cyst on his back drained. Four litres.

And you’re not going to share?

Couldn’t find it again. And I really didn’t care to delve too deeply looking for it.

Cheech and Chong had a routine on one of their records about zits.

You must be referring to this: Disgusting back drainage

That was part of a series of videos a doctor visiting in Africa posted on YT. It seems like some of them are gone now, but I did find these companion videos:

Draining a child’s leg (Thank god they turned off the sound so you don’t hear the horrifying screaming of this poor kid in the original video)

Adult leg drainage and here’s Part 2

Warning: Very gross & disturbing videos. You have been warned.

Oh, DUUUuuuuuuuUUUUUuDE. You can see it moving, presumably from his breathing as a man says something about the lungs being involved. Ugh. Wow.

From the related feature of Johnny L.A.'s link to the spider bite vid: pene amputado (amputated penis) done at Mayo. :eek:

Yes, that’s the one.

Tortuga: I saw the thumbnail. I had no desire to click on it.

(Thread chorus) “Oh, c’mon, don’t be such a baby…”

No, not really. The video made me a little sad. Sure, there are worst things in the world, but that’s got to rank right up there in the personal tragedy department.

(oh, and I get a reading fail for saying that video was filmed at a Mayo clinic/hospital–“Dos de Mayo” is the hospital. Not the same thing at all.)

At one point it looked like a nice raspberry swirl you could serve with pancakes: no?

Like watching a monkey swallowing a hand grenade, you just can’t take your eyes off of it.

I’ve been known to wile away and hour or three at popthatzit.com and youtube but I’ve gotta say, that was one of the grossest things I have ever seen.

<shudder>
