Fun Things for Couples to Do

Cook together? You have to eat no matter what, and putting food on the table involves a range of activities that are readily shared: finding recipes you want to try; figuring out tasty/heathy food on a budget; sharing the sous-chef and cooking tasks; tasting and evaluating the food; setting up a pleasing aesthetic experience with the right dishes, candles and centerpiece – it’s all good. Time spent together in the kitchen has been a real bonding experience for my family, whether it is all three of us together, or any subset of two of us.

We spent the weekend making and painting a plywood Mr. Hanky to add to our outdoor Christmas decorations.

Now we are waiting for a letter from the homeowners association!

I would suggest martial arts and / or bowling. Both are affordable, fun and physical.
