So after running my terribly ‘niche’ blog for a couple of years, I average ~350-400 page views a day, have loyal (really loyal readers) mostly from US, UK, AUS, I decided to sign up for statcounter. OMG is that a lot of fun!
I found someone on New Year’s Eve from Fox News was manfully going through the last 3 months of my blog. And on the same day, someone from the US Senate who spend nearly 3 hours going through about the last year’s posts. It must have been a slow day at the news and in politics!
But here’s what amused me most. I have a post that has an inadvertently ‘naughty’ title about female anatomy. It’s my #1 post, rated #1 for the topic on Google. Let’s just say it attracts a lot of pervs (strangely mostly from the Netherlands). I found someone from the Nebraska Office of the CIO had linked into it. Dude, should you really be searching for naughty words AT WORK in the CIO office? Don’t you know that it’s trackable? I mean, Dude you work in the CIOs office! I got a real laugh out of that.
