EDIT: Sorry, double-post
My mother was babysitting a couple's children when she was in high school when she noted to the blue-eyed parents that she thought it was impossible for them to have brown-eyed kids. Well, turns out the kids she babysat were adopted (she still doesn't know whether the kids knew this yet).
At least most dopers know their loved ones' [names](http://xkcd.com/302/) .
March.
My mother never remembers at what times where my brothers born, she always has to ask me.
Last month would have been Dad’s 70th birthday. She kept saying 71 because “he had 3 years on me!” - no, Mom, 2 and a half and I know this isn’t Alzheimer’s because you’ve been miscounting for years…
I didn’t learn until this weekend that my mother doesn’t like carrots. Now it’s gotten me wondering what else I don’t know about her.
I know next to nothing about my paternal grandparents: no names, ages. Never met them nor have I even seen any photos of them. I only know my father’s father died in the early 70’s (70-72?), I know he was an abusive drunk and that’s it. I know even less about my father’s mother.
Oops. Slow boards…
I didn’t know until this past April that my Dad was such a picky eater.
My husband won’t talk about his first time.
