What sort of creepy ass town of 300 people can not only support a funeral home, but a funeral home that needs extra room? Just how many people died in that town?

I can’t speak for this particular location myself, but knowing rural Wisconsin and Minnesota as I do, often a village of 300-500 people will serve as the locus of services for rural areas containing a few thousand folks.
