I just came across this:
From Russia
Just under two minutes.
From Japan
minute and half
The Russian one is great. Two minutes of epic battle as a kitten bravely confronts its deadliest foe - the wily apple
I love these! and the Russian one’s music is perfect.
I like both of them, but can someone tell me the point of the Japanese one? Why would a show even have that?
Kitties sit in bowls, cover with pie crust, place in oven. Haven’t you seen Young Einstein.
Not keen on that trampoline one, I can just see the kid falling over and seriously injuring the cat.The kid isn’t exactly the most stable, and is highly distracted by the audience - not a great recipe for keeping well balanced - you’ll notice that the child gets quite close, fortunately the bouncing motion moves the cat away from her, good job too, that could have been pretty bad.
Cat does not look very happy, it looks to me pretty resigned to this treatment - as if it gets this sort of harassment regular and just has to put up with it.I’ll bet the cat was laid out asleep on the trampette and was all relaxed and chilled, and then this pair of dolts came along to spoil it, and it takes the cat a little while to understand whats going on, probably thinks it will end soon, but after a while it gets worse.
It also make me wonder about the kid, I would never have done that to an animal when I was that age, and I would expect parents to instill a bit more respect.
The cat seemed to be ok with the smaller jumps might even have been enjoying it, but as soon as the dumbass camera holder encouraged her child to jump higher it tried to regain its footing, but couldn’t, and toward the end of the video - which had be selectively cut - you can see the cat making an attempt to get away.
In short, it is not funny, in fact, the more I see it, the more I want to punch both of the humans in the face.
I… er…
:dubious:

Don’t worry. Cats don’t have the patience to put up with something like that unless it wanted to be there. If the cat honestly didn’t like it, it would get leave. Plus, his ears are up and alert, in “play language” and not back in any kind of worried or angry way. He only scooches forward when it gets a little too bouncy for comfort. Basically, the cat looks like it thinks the activity is on par with changing the sheets on the bed with the cat still on it.
An oldie, but a goody and my absolute favorite kitty video:
I wasn’t worried about the cat, but thanks.
No, I was raising my eyebrow at casdave’s post.
I had a whole thread on this, once upon a time…Why? I Eyes Ya!
Not real kitties and more ‘squee’ than funny, I watched this today. (The 'squee’ness shoots up towards the end)
Hanna is an occasional contributor to the ‘Yogscast’ youtube channel. The main contributors are Simon and Lewis. They mainly do gameplay videos, but the interaction between Simon and Lewis makes them worth watching.
I’ve posted this one before, but I think it’s worth reposting.
Here is one showing how deceitful a cat can be.
