Hey, I was a otaku in my early teenage years. 
Korean culture is a lot more forgiving of otaku than American culture is, IME. Reading manga, for example, is something that everyone does, not just otaku.
I’ve never seen that, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I have on the other hand written that for one of my fanfics but it grossed me out.
Yeah, that sounds about right - for some furries. The ones that describe themselves as lifestylers rather than fans. There are also some that insist they’re persecuted like homosexuals were/are, which I find to be rather an extreme reaction. Although I do tend to be surprised any time furries AREN’T described as perverts. (but that’s not the same at all)

Don’t joke man. That’s one of the things that drove me nuts. You’re not a ‘furson’ dammit! You’re a person. You don’t have to stick ‘fur’ into every word you can! It’s as bad as the damn womyn bs. And it makes me feel like I’m living in a Saturday morning cartoon, minus the cool gadgets.
Damn right. “Furvert” is useful for separating those who are into the sexual aspect from us fans, though.
I like looking at boobs and don’t care if they belong to a human or a fur-covered anthromorph.

I think Google Translate already did, and that’s what we ended up with. It looks like a crappily-done “something-to-English” spambot attempt with a try at posting a URL to a chiropractor referral site.
