Will out entire lives be contained on a card that we will carry around?
yes
Can you be more specific about what you mean by ‘our entire lives’?
It’s definitely possible. Example: I’ll be attending college in the fall. My student ID serves several purposes, from the obvious identification purpose, to being able to access special set-aside funds (sort of like a bank account), to gaining access to different areas. The little magnetic strip on the back of a card is very versatile, but having one card linked to your whole life would just make your identity that much easier to steal.
It’s likely. Issues with stealing might be circumvented through biometric technology, but there will be ways around that too I’m sure. It’s also likely that that very “card” may some day be able to log your coordinates and be used to track your movements. Though I see that happening with parolees first.
