FX's "Sons of Anarchy" starting it's 4th season and I've even heard of this show?

Is this thing an under the radar show or am I living under a rock pop culture wise? I guess getting rid of premium cable cuts you off.

4th season and this is the first I’ve ever heard of it.

Sons of Anarchy

I like it. I rent each season as it comes out on DVD. Not one of the great cable series like The Sopranos or *The Wire *but entertaining if you like that kind of thing.

I like it too, and rate it about the same as River Hippie. The third season was a bit of a let down though, so I’m hoping the fourth gets back on track.

See, I’ll disagree with the others. I do think it’s a great series, with some award-winning acting by, at least, Katy Sagal. The third season is pretty slow, but this one has been knock-your-socks-off worthy since the start.

Give it a shot. You just might love it too.

Ally Walker’s character is one of the great TV series villains.

And her demise was quite satisfying.

It was almost orgasm time!

Agreed. This season, Kurt Sutter has hit on the same formula that made The Shield such a joy to watch. After about a half-season of “set-up” (moving all the pieces into place, plot-wise), the second half is a kind of horror-story avalanche as the meticulous house-of-cards slowly crashes down, gaining momentum and sweeping everything in its path.

This night’s ep. is a prime example. No big surprises about what happened, but how it hapened, and the fine acting that went into it, is what makes this show a worthy successor of The Shield.

“Time to make your own list, Bobby.” Indeed.

The current season will make you wet your pants.

In a good way.

This is one of those shows that I like to call Sopranos Lite. It’s kind of like Sopranos, but they back off on the intricate and intertwining plot lines which makes it much easier to watch (and a bit more enjoyable for me).

I’m still waiting for Season 3 to come out on Netflix Instant.
