Oh, yeah, I forgot to point this out. There are people getting really ticked at Lieberman over “bringing religion into politics” and Zenster’s going after Bush & Olasky.
Of course, Zenster’s afraid of that old religious right. Well, let me tell you something. It isn’t the Christian right steering the GOP–it’s been the GOP demagoguing the Christian right for years. If you really look into the “religious right” propaganda, these are right-wing issues being sold as “Christian”, not the other way around–except for the obvious “morals” stuff: homosexuality & abortion. The GOP has used these wedge issues to create a base, and then tried to indoctrinate this base in right-wing views on taxation, national defense, etc.
I’m not scared of the Religious Right, 'cos I know they don’t have the power. But Zenster is trying to demagogue the other side. The same paranoid irresponsible propaganda crap that two-party politics always uses to keep the power in the hands of the same old elites–who may actually think they’re enemies, but sustain each other against real reform.
Hey foolsguinea, pull your thumb out and check over here. You really love to make baseless accusations. When you’ve washed your hands and read up on my threads, come back and say something coherent.
I hereby nominate Zenster for most egotistical poster. Actually, for most egotistical poster without cause to be so enamored with his cleverness or insight.
So, according to you, someone should “read up on your threads” in order to bring them into the light and shed their obviously incoherent views? And then you direct a person to a old pit thread with a nothing but a rant (no debate or intelligent discussion at all)? This is supposed to set foolsguinea straight? Please.
I’ve read your threads, seen your arguments, and even contributed to the debates. I hardly think of you as the voice of intellectual reason. Quite the opposite, actually.
