… and I can’t seem to fix it.
This is an older machine running Win98 2d Ed. that normally has cable internet access. I was looking for some mail sent to an old (now defunct) CompuServe account, and thought I would just fire it up to get access to the old inbox. However, CompuServe 2000 attempted to set up a dialup connection when I started it, and now I can’t get back to what I had before. I have gone through the Internet Connection wizard to set up access through a LAN but still no cable connection. Do I need to get into the registry to fix this? If so, how to I do it without wrecking something else? Thanks for any advice you can give.
