Galapagos

Is anyone else watching this on the National Geographic High-def channel? The science wouldn’t stress a bright second-grader, but the photography is unbelievable – even with zooms, I don’t know how they got some of those shots. Hours and hours of footage, with almost no “filler” materials – every shot is worth watching.

I’m in awe (and that’s hard to do with nature programs). This is going to sell a LOT of high-definition televisions.

I’ve never really cared about plain vs. high def but I saw this in HDTV and good lord it is stunning. I never knew half those colors existed in nature. Plus I think Darwin’s great great great grandson was involved in the filming, which is kind of cool.

I’ve only gotten as far as the iguanas eating algae underwater while being molested by sea lions. It’s unbelievable.
