Finally got around to installing the new After Burner internal lighting device for the Gameboy Advance. I have to say that I am happy as hell with it. I can finally play my GBA again. I stopped playing it about a week after I got it because the dark screen was just to annoying. But now I am playing the freakin’ thing in the dark.
Installation wasn’t easy but if you just take your time it shouldn’t be a problem. Took me about four hours. I didn’t have a dremel so I cut everything by hand with exacto knives which worked great.
I had read the mixed reviews that people were giving the kit but figured what the hell. I don’t play it now and if I ruin the GBA it doesn’t matter. The only thing I would be out of was the $40 for the kit. I’ve got to say though that it was well woth it. In fact, installation was so successful that I’m running out to go pick up a few new games.
If anyone out there has any questions about the kit or the instalation just ask. I’m not an expert but I just may have the answer.
