I’ve done a few all nighters the last week WoWing, and it seems I’ve gotten an intermittent mild right handed tremor. There’s a very good possibility this has to do with malnutrition and sleep deprivation. Any of you guys experience this? Will and multivitamin and a few good nights rest ease it?
My mouse hand gets very cold when I’m on the computer for an extended period of time.
They can have your mouse when they can pry it…
But I have hand!
And you’re gonna need it.
I used to get tremors and shakes sometimes when I would do prolonged gaming/typing etc. But now that I’m a bank teller and I’m always on a computer, I don’t seem to get it. Huh. Seems to have gone away with use.
If it’scarpal tunnel(due to overuse, common with typewriters and now computer typing position jobs), resting the hand for a while and not straining it can help, but if you continue to do the motions that are aggravating it, it’ll come back.
But yeah, you can get some temporary relief especially if it hasn’t fully developed.
Carpal tunnel is one of several problems you can get from repetitive motion. The damage can become permanent, so don’t take it lightly. I know some people who can no longer pick up a pen and write. Think about needing both hands to pour a glass of wine, because you don’t have the grip strength to hold it with one.
Multivitamins are a waste of time. Proper fresh food and some consecutive nights of adequate sleep should fix it. To stop it happening in future, train yourself to be able to switch hands and mouse with your left - it doesn’t take long.
