Not sure exactly what you mean, Tuckerfan.

I use the browser (Ctrl+B) so I can drill down by Artist / Album.

If I select “Artist” in the browser window the main windows shows me all tracks by that artist.

If I select a particular album in the “Album” part of the broswer window, the main window shows me just the tracks on that album.

Also, click on the column heading “Album”. In the new iTunes it can be switched to display something called “Album by Artist” or “Album by Year”. Haven’t playe dwith it myself since I use the browser I don’t think I need it.

In the library window, you can choose to sort things by Album or Artist (as well as a few other choices), but they’re either/or selections, I can drill down by using the browser, and get it to display all the albums by a certain artist, but often times, I pick what I listen to by scrolling around in the library window, and then if I decide I want to hear all the songs by a certain artist, I have to jump back up to the browser window and select them there. Really, they need Rob Gordon to design the organizational features of the software.

Try clicking on the “Album” heading. It will eventually give you “Album by Artist” which sounds lke what you want.
