When I had one it was on the left.
Mine’s on the left, which is actually farther away from the dishwasher, which is to the right of the sink. I couldn’t really care which side it’s on, as long as it works. I hardly ever wash my dishes by hand. I throw nearly everything in the dishwasher.
I meant that if my landlord made that statement I’d have to ask him for a cite. Or make an attempt to check with whatever agency that would be in charge of such a regulation.
Eh. It’s a rental house. It’s not like we’re going to put in a disposal anyway. We’re only going to be here a total of 3 years.
I’m surprised by the OP washing in the sink without the disposal.
I’ve always washed in the one with the disposal, that way any stuff on the dishes goes down the disposal.
Ours is on the left. Problem is, the left sink is a very small one and it’s far more convenient to rinse off dishes on the right over the larger sink. I’m thinking of moving it.
