Gay, Athiest Boy Scouts outside the U.S.

I know the BSA has been covering its prejudice behind being a “private” organization, and barring athiests and Gays from being involved. I don’t necessarily disagree with the courts. They have gotten black eyes from the press, and many see them in a different light now.

What about the rest of the world. Have courts required them to admit athiest or gay scout members or leaders? Or have they made the changes themselves? Or are they just as adamant in their beliefs as in the U.S.?

I seem to recall that several European nations welcome gay and atheist boys in their national Scout organization, and were quite pleased by the founding of Scouting For All. Perhaps someone more directly involved/interested will have further comments.

Gays are welcome in Canadian Scouting.
