By voting Yes on Prop 8, isn’t he making the laws? Not singlehandedly, of course, but he is participating in the process. And while he says he’d like things to go differently, Yes on 8 is not “From this point forward, all legal rights and privileges granted…” blah blah blah whatever he claims he wishes it would be. It’s just “gays can’t get married in CA anymore.” All the nuance he claims he desires is neither present nor forthcoming. He swears he’s not a bigot, but he voted with bigots in favor of a bigoted law. Doesn’t that say it all?
