Geeks: Anything on the market like Microsoft's Seadragon?

I was duly impressed by the 2007 TED video demo of Microsoft’s Seadragon software. I see from their site that MS is “working on it…”

I could really use something along these lines (ability to have a highly/infinitely scalable “pasteboard” for viewing many docs at once) in my design practice; our team is scattered across the country, so we don’t have the advantage of being able to hang big pieces of foamcore in our offices that everyone can walk by, see, and add new clippings/etc. to as needed.

Does anything Seadragon-ish already exist?

I don’t know but I saw a demo for this a year or so again. It is amazing. I can’t wait. I don’t have a clue how they do this without super-taxing a computer’s resources.
