I vaguely remember the Raisin Bran with bananas but not the cranberries. I might like the cranberry version.
I usually thinly slice half a banana
into my cereal. Tastes great with any cold cereal.
I wouldn’t want dehydrated with preservatives pieces of banana added by the factory. I avoid highly processed food as much as possible.
What do you think breakfast cereal is?
The first Facebook group I ever heard of was when either St. Olaf or Carleton College had one named “My School Smells Better Than Yours.”
Strictly speaking, the banana pieces were freeze-dried, so no preservatives were used.
They were supposed to rehydrate in milk. They didn’t, at least not very well.
I do consider myself a Sweet Immature Cereal aficionado. I could compile a website-worth of reviews (like “The MOM*s BEST version of Golden Grahams tastes authentically cardboard-ish, but gets soggy immediately. Have your spoon poised as you pour the milk.”)
And you’re right, no generic Lucky Charms are half as good as the name brand. They have the “real” fake marshmallows.
*By the way, MOM stands for Malt-O-Meal, but those are boxed instead of bagged.
