Gently pressing the eyelid margin of the upper eyelid platform of an eye against the pupil of an eye

First off, excuse me for the title. I thought for a long time to figure out how I could explain my question in the clearest way, then I decided do come up with that. :frowning:

Secondly, I am rather serious about that question. I was unsure about where I would create this thread. Since I am serious, I decided not to create it in MPSIMS. If this is not proper place for this thread, of a surety it can be moved to another section. Sorry mods :frowning:

OK. So, I get pleasure from gently pressing the eyelid margin of the upper eyelid platform of one of my eye against the pupil of of my eye. It feels like I massage my eyes. It is not like a sexual excitement. Very similar to the feeling which you may get from a massage. I like the feeling which comes from the pupil (I am not sure about how you call it), not the eyelid margin.

I had a friend who’d enjoy tickling himself. More like gently moving his fingers around his body. Perhaps, this is a psychological disorder? (So is mine, perhaps)

  • Is this a common thing?
  • Am I alone to do that? And, to feel the “relaxing” pleasure?
  • Is there a scientific or “fancy” term for this thing?

Many thanks.

Feels really weird to me. As in, makes me shudder weird.

I’ve worked with a lot of computer programmers and it’s common among them but I’ve not seen anyone else who was into it. So it’s a nerd thing. I think it has something to do with the time spent staring at monitors in a semi-dark environment and the resultant eyestrain.

I’ve never done that before, but I tried it just now and yeah, it does feel kind of nice. Bit like a massage, as you say.

I think the bit of the eye you’ve been pressing on (the bulgy bit in the middle) is the cornea. The pupil and iris are behind it.
