How much mercury was in your kids systems before treatment? How much after treatment? Who tested them for mercury-was it the same person who treated them with chelation?
No. And by definition they do not. I do however think that the Aspergers diagnosis in particular gets very fuzzy. Many socially atypical quirky and obsessive types (some of my favorite people from college and med school!) can be squeezed in there and I do not know to what end. Yes, it can help a struggling child and their family understand the pattern of the child’s strengths and weaknesses. The name can suggest educational and behavioral techniques likely to help with those struggles. But other than that, why label? If someone is not disabled by a condition then why pathologize it?
I don’t know much about Fitzgerald. Baron-Cohen’s work (which he has also called the “extreme male brain” in a more media hookish way) is based on reams of data about a basic processing stylistic in those with ASD, not just Aspergers.
Yes.
No. That statement is a complete crock. A greater awareness of and greater case finding of autism has been a gradual process from the late 80’s to today. That’s been the course of my career; I’ve witnessed it.
And there are no gays in Iran.
Yet less than 10% of pregnant women get flu shots.Yup, the smoking gun.
Nope. You can just read one of my last posts. In fact the kids who got the thimerosal containing shots had slightly less autism and cognitive deficits. Studies done in England, Denmark, and America all showing the same results. The vaccine-autism speculation has been roundly falsified.
I have asked this previously - maybe you missed it. Were your chidren tested for mercury poisoning? How was the testing done?
And I am not sure from the above quote - do you have more than one child with “autism” or is that a punctuation error?
But he goes to meetings with people that agree with him, and he polls them, and they agree with him! Isn’t that evidence enough for you?
True, it also causes many health probelms in people not suffering from metal poisoning.
Show us any scientific publictaions which support this conclusion.
Show us any evdience they are gettng better.
Chelation carried out on healthy people has been known to cause brain and heart damage and lethargy as a result of that damage. I would believe that your kids are becoming less agressive and less focussed as a result of damage you are doing to them with chelation treatment.
But until you show us some evidence nobody is going to believe that they are getting better.
I’m willing to bet he hasn’t suffered any damage from unnecesray chelation therapy.
Oh, the irony.
Yet another study to show that mercury is actually beneficial to developing brains?
Here’s a report of two previous studies which suggested that mercury might “help kids”, and "“improve their behaviour and mental performance” ".
Do you really believe that?
I’m waiting for studies to show that the aluminium in vaccines is also good for babies’ brains.
Of course it won’t. Foresam is right when he says, “Parents are the experts on autism”.
Our children, some of them from the very day they were born, were injected with multiple vaccines laden with neurotoxic ingredients. They reacted, regressed, lost language, lost the ability to relate to their families and to their environment, and retreated into their own worlds. Then they were diagnosed with a mysterious disorder called “Autism”.
With the right treatment our children recover, as my son has, and some are cured.
Medical professionals have their eyes closed just like Neurodiversity activists, refusing to believe that some children with Autism are cured. Perhaps they need to see it for themselves, to believe it.
D Seid,
“And there are no gays in Iran.”
Do you have peer reviewed double-blind studies showing that there ARE gays in Iran?
Can you produce any 77 year old autistics?
“Yet less than 10% of pregnant women get flu shots.Yup, the smoking gun.”
Less than 1% of kids are autistic.
“Studies done in England, Denmark, and America all showing the same results. The vaccine-autism speculation has been roundly falsified.”
Who paid for the studies? Are you referring to that idiotic Danish study that never counted non-institutionalized autistics until after thimerosal was removed?
Do you get a bonus every time you say thimerosal is blameless?
And, Baron Cohen missed the data about how testosterone makes mercury more toxic. How could such an esteemed researcher miss such an obvious piece of data?
You didn’t answer my email about deleted posts. Could you tell us if the posts were deleted due to Neurodiversity.com’s whining or were you also threatened by their lawyer? Did I err by assuming you would send my post back to me?
You are out of line. Keep personal insults off this board except in the BBQ Pit.

Blake,

Proper chelation has never harmed one person. Medical malpractice involving chelation harmed 2 children.
Snakes cat lady,
There are 3 possible causes of autism as far as I know, genetics, MMR vaccine and thimerosal. I ruled out genetics by testing. My son was autistic before he had his MMR vaccine. Process of elimination meant it was mercury, no testing required. Mercury poisoning was confirmed by improvement during chelation. Would you waste money having a kid tested for rattlesnake poison if you had seen the snake bite him?
My apologies Hentor for :smack: misreading your name.
Tomndebb, will it will also be insinuated that I’m stupid if I also use English spelling, not American?
Tomndebb,
I’d like to pose the same question to the entire medical profession. Would that make it impersonal?
well, then we better put the mercury back in the shots as fast as we can.
And the FDA better recommend that all pregnant women eat as much tuna as they can and get amalgam fillings while they are pregnant. That might reduce the current running out of control epidemic, right?
Of course, you might want to say that the two mercury types are different, but the flip side to that is that the medical people don’t seem to consider the “difference” worth yawning about.
So, bring it all back I say. Removing it was really dumb, right?
Yeah, that would be impersonal.
It would not make your argument for you, but it would avoid violating the rules of thes Forum by making personal attacks.
Here’s the article by the way CP.
tom, I’ll apologise now for my jab at you before. I know I should have read Hentor’s name properly… and my jab was that it has happened on boards before that I’ve been got at for English spelling, and it really annoys me.
Sorry if my frustrations spilled out on you. It was unfair.
OK Tomndebb, make that “you” plural. And can you answer my other question, please?
Which question?
Tomndebb, Post #188
foresam, a few words of advice:
(1) Don’t piss off the mods.
(2) For heaven’s sake, don’t piss off the mods when they’re already sort of pissed off.
