Agree with this. Additionally, ensure the place you bring it to is authorized by Heuer. Have them verify that it is genuine, and maybe have an appraisal done, too.
I’ve been wearing a Breitling Aerospace titanium (Gen-III) every day for nearly 25 years. It was a wedding gift from my wife. I have it serviced by only authorized Breitling places.

That’s my plan. I’ve (hopefully) got a number of years before I shed this mortal coil, but I intend on making plans to divest my estate of the myriad of items I’ve accumulated over the decades that nobody will want once I’m gone. I have a small number of items of moderate value, of some interest, and most importantly they don’t take up a lot of space. Things like megalodon teeth, some fossils, and now a watch. Items that won’t be burdensome for my only heir, my niece, to keep, sell, or do with as she wishes.
