Getting rid of SPY-PAL

Hey all,

Since I couldn’t find out how to do this myself, I thought I would ask the help of the teeming millions.

My brother in law has a Dell laptop with Windows XP on it. About a month ago, he noticed a program called SPY-PAL on his computer. A virus scan has come up empty. He wants to remove this program from the laptop, but it’s no where to be found. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of. I did a search for it, looked in the TEMP files, Add/Remove programs to no avail.

Any ideas in getting rid of this program? Their website offers no help (big surprise there)

try ad-aware. I don’t know what spy-pal is but put it into google with the word remove would be one way I might go about removing it.

We found out how to remove it thru google.
