Honestly- many Police officers know a lot less about the law than you think, and Cops will make a good criminal attorney or Prosecutor alternately groan and laugh.
A couple of my attorney buddies once tried the old “drink a shot whenever you see a ------” with Cops and violations of Constituional Rights- but they couldn’t drink that much.
