Okay, so it’s gotten complicated to get vaccinated for covid in the US. But my son points out that we are visiting Japan in October. Does anyone know if we could get jabbed there? And if so, what we’d need to do and what it would cost?
I think its probably as complicated in Japan for a non-resident.
I would be afraid of getting sick from the shot while on vacation or a work trip.
Probably as complicated in Japan for a non-resident where?
Does it depend on which prefecture your in?
Ask the OP what prefecture. I don’t have their itinerary.
I think that getting any medical care out of your own country might be difficult.
Heck maybe Japan gives em to everyone in open clinics. How can I know that? I know Google says you may have to provide residency.
Do you ever ask a question that isn’t just hateful? Or do you just hate me?
At first glance, it looks like it’s possible and the price is about ¥12,000 ($80)
The vaccine isn’t covered by the national health insurance so the price would be the same as residents.
I can call a hospital and find out more information if you are interested.
Send me a DM if you need more information.

This is a completely inappropriate post outside the pit. You know better, and this is a warning.
DM sent. Thanks.
Actual answer: Yes, it’s possible and the name of an English speaking clinic which provides the vaccine was sent by DM.
