I’m looking for some nonviolence websites that uses the teaching of Ghandi and his views on nonviolence as a means of political and social movement. Specfiically, his teaching on “Satyagraha” and its influence in nonviolence movement. The sites don’t really have to explicity influence by Ghandi but something that uses nonviolence to promote its message.
Hi EmilyW, welcome to the SDMB! There are a bunch, but I am going to teach you to fish:
-
Go to Google.
-
Search on Satyagraha and non-violence.
-
Voila! Lot’s of good answers, like

And sorry about the coding. It’s what I get for trying to multitask.
You can also Google and search for: ‘Ghandi teachings nonviolence’ without the quotes. There is a page full of links.
LL
Might I suggest you use “Gandhi” instead of “Ghandi” in your search? His full name was Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
It’s Gandhi NOT Ghandi, as aasna says.
european format, american format, or asian format. Ghandi or Gandhi seems to work well with searches. The OP used Ghandi.
Actually, that’s exactly why I left Gandhi/Ghandi out of my original search. Don’t really need it.
PS: to Dr.Matrix - thanks for the code fixes.
