The trailer looked great to me. It does look like it will be heavy on the Stranger Things vibe but trailers are often misleading. Right now though it looks very interesting.
It felt like a teen coming-of-age adventure movie which is… fine? But not why I’d go see a Ghostbusters flick. Or any movie, really – the genre isn’t much of a draw for me. I’m sure the kids will all learn important lessons about life, love, family and friendship. Good for them.
But I figure I’ll wait and see what the next trailer(s) have to show and see if it looks more appealing.
First ET gets a new commercial appearance, now this.
This trailer was the best thing about my unfortunate cinema trip to see Rise of Skywalker. Quietly hoping it is going to be good.
It can’t be worse than the 2016 abomination, at least.

Release has been delayed to March 2021, making a mockery of my thread title.
The Ghostbusters game from 2009 is pretty enjoyable if someone needs a fix. All of the Ghostbusters and misc characters are back, except for Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver. Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis script-doctored it, and Aykroyd has said that this it is essentially the 3rd Ghostbusters movie.
There was a remastered version released in 2019, available on the Epic storefront for PC. I bought the original version on Steam before it was pulled.
The reviews were very good for the original version. I don’t like over-the-shoulder 3rd person games, but I put up with it for the sake of the story. I wish the gameplay had been more my style, but the gfx were very good for their time, and the story and voices gave me the experience of another Ghostbusters movie, something I never thought I’d have.
